The Committee on Academic Affairs shall address all issues relating to academic programs. The committee chairperson shall act as a liaison to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Programs and the Director of Academic Programs and shall stay informed of the Instructional Council.

The Committee on Student Affairs shall address all issues relating to student life. The committee chairperson shall act as a liaison to the Vice Chancellor for Student Life, the Director of Residential Life, and the Director of Student Services and shall stay informed of the Parent Association.

The Committee on Mental Health Advocacy shall be responsible for positive education, awareness and de-stigmatization of Mental Health and Mental Illnesses on campus, choosing members for the committee by application vocalize any concerns students have regarding mental wellbeing, collaborate with the counseling department, Community Coordinators, and Faculty Senate on initiatives and projects, hold de-stressing sessions throughout the school year, educate the NCSSM community regarding healthy living practices, and send out and analyze at least one survey regarding mental wellbeing to the student body per year. 

The Committee on Outreach shall address all issues relating to communication, with institutions and organizations outward of NCSSM. The Committee shall also address other communication issues, such as surveys of the Student Body. The committee chairperson shall collaborate with the appointed Director of Public Relations to provide transparency between Student Government and the Student Body, and shall contain appointed members as well as elected senators.

The Campus Improvement & Renovations Committee is a new committee this year and shall address issues relating to campus improvement and renovation needs, student feedback and requests, project development, advocacy, as well as grant writing and fundraising in collaboration with the NCSSM Foundation and the Association of Student Governments. The committee chairperson shall collaborate with the Director of State Relations and the ASG Campus Liaison,  the Director of Outreach, the Student Body President and the Senate President, and shall serve as a liaison to the Director of Institutional Advancement, and the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement.

The Committee on Internal Operations shall address all issues relating to the structure and efficiency of Student Government. The committee is responsible for establishing policy and procedure compliant with current and future Student Government programs and also ensuring these programs are supported.
